Cary Tilds and Robert Skinner Join Digital Strategy Team
FordDirect COO Garry McGuire recently announced the addition of Cary Tilds and Robert Skinner to key leadership roles on FordDirect's digital strategy team. Tilds has joined FordDirect as senior vice president, digital strategy, and Skinner is vice president, digital strategy and marketing technologies.
- Cary Tilds (left) joined FordDirect as senior vice president, digital strategy on Jan. 18. Cary has been an experienced digital thought leader and advisor to many of the top chief marketing officers in the country. She will lead FordDirect’s Digital Strategy organization and be responsible for the broader digital strategy for FordDirect, which includes but is not limited to execution and operation of innovation technologies to support business transformation, technology integration, data, analytics, and machine learning. Cary has a track record for successful execution of business transformation initiatives similar to what we are doing at FordDirect. Previously, Cary was the chief innovation officer of Group M (WPP).
- Robert Skinner (right) joined FordDirect as vice president, digital strategy and marketing technologies on Jan. 8, and reports to Cary. Bob has been working with Ford and FordDirect as a consultant for approximately four years, and has been a great asset on Tier I to Tier III technology.
Rounding out the digital strategy team and also reporting to Cary are: Tom Thomas, VP, analytics; Marcia Sorensen, senior director, digital strategy; Jared Amaral, senior director, digital strategy; and Dave Kaffenberger, director, Innovation Lab.
