FordDirect Cares’ annual campaign to benefit the United Way and its partner charities will launch on Monday, Oct. 8 through Friday, Nov. 2, mirroring our Ford customer’s campaign in October. Through its research, best practices and powerful partnerships, the United Way ensures that our community’s children have access to meals, educational success, and early childhood resources.

With the theme of “Run, Read, Register to Give,” FordDirect team members have three ways to participate in the United Way campaign this year:

1) Run: Employees can join Team Ford's Detroit Free Press/Chemical Bank Marathon team to raise money for the United Way on Oct. 20-21.

 2) Read: FordDirect is supporting the United Way in collecting new and gently used books for kids and families at Hutzel Hospital.

 3) Register to Give: FordDirect employees are receiving an email requesting one-time or ongoing payroll deduction donations to the United Way through eWay. The eWay platform also allows our employees outside of Dearborn and throughout the United States to contribute to United Way charities in their own home communities, sending our impact far beyond Detroit.
