Nearly 30 FordDirect team member participants raised a total of $2,000 at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure at Comerica Park in Detroit on Saturday, May 5, contributing to our Ford Motor Company team's total. FordDirect Cares Donates $2,000 to Hurricane Harvey Dealership Employee Relief Fund

Following the devastating effects of Hurricane Harvey on the Houston area several weeks ago, FordDirect Cares has made a $2,000 donation to the Hurricane Harvey Ford Dealership Employee Relief Fund. The fund provides financial assistance to Ford dealership employees who are suffering from unforeseen hardships resulting from Hurricane Harvey. Contributions are managed by Baton Rouge Area Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax deductible.

Final Strike Out Duchenne Donation Impact Exceeds $29,000

The final numbers are in for FordDirect Cares’ 2017 Strike Out Duchenne campaign for Team Joseph, and following a match from Boston Red Sox pitcher Rick Porcello, the campaign’s final impact from FordDirect-related giving will be $29,444. This exceeds both Ryan Miller’s 2017 goal of $25,000, as well as last year’s final FordDirect-related impact of $28,102.
